Good Morning beautiful people!! It’s another marvelous Monday and I’m happy to be here, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
Are you a person that struggles with making hasty assumptions? Sometimes it’s easy to make a false assumption without all of the facts. Before we know it, even without proof, what we assume becomes our truth. Our misguided feelings lead to misguided thoughts, which cause misguided responses.
A simple misinterpretation can lead to a negative assumption. When we make an assumption, anger and hurt may well up in our hearts and we may pull away from people in order to protect ourselves.
Through Christ, we have a mind that is well balanced and able to consider situations with deep thought and context . Our sound mind is stronger than our feelings and immediate judgements, but we have to give our thoughts time to catch up with our emotions.
Before a false assumption ruins a relationship in your life, take a second and think. Settle your emotions and consider what you know to be true about your situation. Always approach a situation looking for clarity before making a hasty assumption.
We love you all and be blessed.
