Daily Dose of Light ♡

Happy Friday!!! We made it through another week! I think I’ll start saying something I’m thankful for at the end of every week and you all can feel free to shoot me an email telling me what you’re thankful for, excited about, etc. or just tune in to see what I have to say for some encouragement!

This week I’m thankful for having the opportunity to run this blog. I’ve been looking for something to dedicate my time to besides school and if you’d told me three weeks ago that it would be a blog I might have laughed. Now, I wouldn’t rather be doing anything else. Sometimes you know that God has a plan for you, but you don’t exactly know what it is or how you’ll even begin to start moving in the right direction. That was me. I didn’t know where to start, but I’ve always known that I would make something of myself , or I guess that God would make something out of me.

I can tell that this is my beginning, and I’m very happy and excited with this beginning. I want you to be encouraged to find yours. If you’ve already found it I want to encourage you to give your all to it. One thing I’ve learned is that the only person that can hold you back is you, and I hate to sound cliche but you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

As long as we believe in ourselves and put our trust in God we’re unstoppable ♡

♡ Verse for The Recovery Room Theme: Healing

Psalm 56:4 (NKJV)

In God (I will praise His word),

In God I have put my trust;

I will not fear.

What can flesh do to me?

♡ Verse of the Day

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
