Greetings my friends! I hope you’re enjoying your morning! Don’t you just love the weekends? You can be productive, you can be lazy, or you can just have fun. The possibilities are endless!
This weekend I’m reflecting on forgiveness. As we’ve been discussing in The Recovery Room, forgiveness is an important part of the emotional and mental healing process. Sometimes, we try to push aside the forgiving step and move forward in all the other aspects of our lives, and this may work for a while but in reality we are still holding on to that hurt because we haven’t forgiven those who’ve hurt us.
It may not happen overnight, but I want to encourage you all to ponder the true meaning of forgiveness and what it means to truly forgive someone for the hurt they’ve caused you.
Think about this, God loves us so much that he is willing to forgive all 7 billion of us every day, and he sent his only son to die for all of our sins. If God can forgive us, shouldn't we be able to forgive others?
I hope you guys have an amazing Saturday and get some relaxing done! Be kind!! and feel free to send an email if you’d like :)
