Daily Dose of Light ♡

Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend but It’s Monday again, so let’s try to have a productive and positive week!

Friendships are an important part of life. Your friends should have your back and be there to support you and vice versa, but sometimes we let disagreements get in the way and allow us to lose sight of the reasons we built those friendships. My aunt always told me that some people were meant to be in your life for a season and when I got to college I really found out what she meant by that.

I’m learning that everyone isn’t going to be able to come with you on your journey. You will outgrow some people and that is ok. It doesn’t mean you should have animosity towards anyone, you just have to wish them the best and continue your journey.

You’ll know who is meant to stick around and be a part of your life. Your true friends want you to grow and flourish and prosper. Your true friends pour light into your life. When you find those friends, hold on to them, love them, and pray for them.

♡ Verse for The Recovery Room Theme: Forgiveness

Proverbs 17:9 (NKJV)

He who covers a transgression seeks love,

But he who repeats a matter separates friends.

♡ Verse of the Day

Job 42:10 (NKJV)

And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
